Involved in the following tasks

  • T5 eMRUI Software package
Task 5 assures that the algorithms FAST shall devise, can be used in Clinics and Research Laboratories with minimal effort in an Information System. To this end, the algorithms are packaged in an innovative, collaborative, object-oriented, Java-based graphical user-interface (GUI) to be developed by the SME ALTER-Systems. Combination of both will result in the eMRSI software package. Innovative features of the GUI are
    1. Remote interaction via the intra-/internet enabling real time data- and action-sharing between multiple experts or trainees,
    2. Hands-free use for Intra Operative MRSI.
The remote-interaction capabilities of the eMRSI software (not a trivial internet facility) will be of paramount importance for eTraining and eLearning.

Research focus

My main responsibilities on the project are contributing at the architecture and developing the eMrui software package. The first part of the project is redesigning jMrui as a plug-ins platform and during the second part I will be contributing to the collaborative layer of the software. I also contributed to the development of the FAST?s web site.
